Full Property Renovation & Extensions in Middleton St George

This project involved the complete renovation and transformation of a 100-year-old property in Middleton St George, which had previously become uninhabitable due to its condition. The aim of the project was to redevelop the property into a modern family home while significantly increasing the available living space.

Our team carried out a full refurbishment of the existing structure while also constructing two major extensions to improve both the scale and layout of the property. A single-storey extension was added to one side of the house, while a two-storey extension was constructed on the other, creating a much larger and more functional living environment.

Throughout the project, we worked closely with the client, architect, and design team to carefully plan and deliver the transformation of the property. The construction process involved upgrading the structure, modernising the internal layout, and integrating new building elements with the existing house.

The completed project successfully transformed a neglected building into a spacious, modern home designed to meet the needs of contemporary family living.

Completed Landscaping

The landscaping was designed to complement the character of the finished home, combining traditional materials with practical, long-lasting solutions. A welcoming curved entrance was created using the original reclaimed bricks from the property, preserving its heritage while adding a distinctive feature to the front of the home.

The completed external works also include permeable block paving with golden gravel, raised planting areas, block-paved access points, and a hard-standing area. Every element was carefully considered to create an attractive, functional outdoor space that enhances the property's appearance while providing effective drainage and easy maintenance.

These finishing touches complete the project, delivering a seamless transition between the home and its surrounding landscape and showcasing the attention to detail that defines every Devine Construction project.
